Happening at BHS

September 23, 2019

Learning Commons:  Ms. Holmgren and Ms. Carson are planning to present two of our electronic resources to our new students sometime soon. Ms. Holmgren with be talking to them about Overdrive, which is a site where students can access digital and audio books and load them on to an electronic device for listening or reading. Ms. Carson will present OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog), which allows our staff and students to explore which resources may be available from our LLC or other Learning Commons within our school division. Both these sites require access to the internet to function.

Garden:   We are continuing to harvest our produce for our students to snack on. Last week we harvested carrots, some snow peas and some tomatoes. We have lots of green tomatoes, so we picked them all on Friday and put them away to ripen safely inside, as we are expecting a visit from Jack Frost soon.
